- His music blends elements of Italo Disco, Synthpop, Electro, EBM, New Beat, and Techno, resulting in a hypnotic journey through the realms of synthesized elegance and the raw power of retro drum machines, displaying a deep appreciation for sonic diversity.From the Italian seaside town of Trani, 23 y/o Domenico Ventura - aka DayVentura - is virtuously making his debut on the electronic music scene from a meticulous study of all that has gone before, since his musical journey began with the influence of his father's 80s electronic music. It's this eclectic mix of influences that defines the DayVentura's distinctive sound, which reached dancefloors from Milan (BASE, Apollo Club,…), Turin (Bunker), La Fabbrica (BT) & more to Berlin’s Arkaoda’s decks with Slow Motion Records in the “Memory Dance” night. His music weaves elements of Italo, Synthpop, Electro, EBM, New Beat, Acid House and Techno into his sonic tapestry. His DJ sets are characterized by a sensual yet forceful sound, creating an atmosphere that's both captivating and electrifying. In 2021, with the participation of other members, he built INSERTCOIN80: an event reality that brings not only music, but also all the Italian and North-European 80s imagery translated visually and sensorially into an 8-bit video game to clubs. This Italian-based collective shares a common goal: to carve out a unique and recognizable space for Italo Disco and its past and future influences within the Italian underground electronic music scene.
