- Hailing from East London, Dean Tyler's adventures in music paint a colourful picture, from his beginnings spinning for hiphop heavyweight DefJam Records to his career as an A&R boss for the world's largest independent record label, but it is his regula..Hailing from East London, Dean Tyler's adventures in music paint a colourful picture, from his beginnings spinning for hiphop heavyweight DefJam Records to his career as an A&R boss for the world's largest independent record label, but it is his regular guest spots at London's roadblock events such as AfterLove and Creche where he has developed his sound, an eclectic mix of genres such as house, underground hiphop and nineties swing all pulled together, tweaked and grooved out with acid and deep house basslines. As a producer his remix resume includes the likes of Run DMC, Jamie Jones and Romanthony while his current remixes can be found under various psuedonyms including his most recent, Volante, of which his remix with Hot Natured's Richy Ahmed recently hit number 3 in the Beatport Nu Disco chart.
