- Once upon a Time ...Coming to you from Berlin, Germany, Mean Deen (born Nadine Adrian) is a dynamic force to be reckoned with in the world of house music! She is carving a solid niche as a diversely talented DJ, preferring to play styles that include deep house, deep tech, jackin underground & funky sounds. Says Fortune, "There's a reason I call my show 'The Eclectic;' there are so many musical styles that I draw on for influence!" Born in 1980 in the tiny hamlet, Rüdersdorf, Deen clearly remembers being bitten by the house music bug at the tender age of nine years old while spending time with her aunt ,a true, old-school house party afficionados who often held parties where vinyl DJs and producers would play. As a teenager, Deen attended music school, focusing on vocal performance, sang in different bands/genres and then, eventually, she fronted her own group on stage. Since 2006, Hope's Matters has been bringing their funky, jazzy live house performances to the stage.
