- Deibeat was resident dj of a club at only 16. He published his first breakbeat vinyl with DjShemma, the classic "Give me a mother fucking breakbeat", then also with Fat and Blind, "Dancing in the Rain" published on vinyl and included on the compilation..David Casal a.k.a. DeiBeat is a dj/producer born in Cadiz ( South of Spain ). Initially he used to play hiphop, r&b or disco hits, but quickly he began to make his own tracks, his own style with electronic rythms. 1995-1998 In the beginning he dedicated to make and sell his own vinyls, with that he began to have respect in Andalucia. Many of this records are now classics in his country. 1999 Using the alias " Fat & Blind " he signed his first official publication in a compilation called " TODO EN 1 " , by Sony Music, and had a big tv campaing in Spain. The publication was on 4 CDs, Latin pop, international pop, progressive house and techno which included his track “ Dancing in the rain” and other realises from artist like Safri Duo, Apollo 440, Brooklyn Bounce... In this time his performances were lives of techno trance.Pacha in Pto.Santa Maria (Cadiz), Anfiteatro (Cadiz), Industrial Copera (Granada), Energia (Granada) or Bachata (Madrid) were some venues that could enjoy his music . 2000 Alejandro Vazquez, owner of weekend records label and who previously included his track in “Todo en 1”, decided to publish “ Give me a mother fuck..breakbeat” in his label Weekend records, also with the pseudonym “ Fat & Blind”, and it was techno version and breakbeat remix, both of them included later in “This is the Weekend Breaks” compilation. Deibeat signed with Animalia booking Agency and promoter, participating then in all festivals and parties around south of Spain with this promoter: Techno Grand Prix, Carnival, Animali Aniversary,...the influx in these festivals could easily reach more than 5000 attendees, witch means Deibeat´s performance was required and demanded more in every venues. In summertimes Deibeat was one of the residents djs in one of the most legenday clubs in Andalucia:” Mangueta Beach”, located in one of the best beaches in the south, 20 metres from the sea; we are talking about “Caños de Meca “ (Cadiz) where was also working as graphic designer. 2001 Deibeat publish another track with Weekend Records label “Hot like the sun”, track that ended in all suitcases of the most prestigious djs of the breakbeat world scene which was included later in the Swiss compilation KAUFLEUTEN DJ Traxx Vol.7 (mixed by Rolf Imhof). The areas where Deibeat is doing his performances start increasing more, being at the begining part of Andalucia Region ( Cadiz, Huelva and Seville), he started to get contracts for his performances in Malaga and Granada, and Promoters from others Regions out of Andalucia started to be interesting in Deibeat´s performances witch gave to the artist the posibility to play in Badajoz, Merida or even Madrid. This year got an interview in the publication of DJ1 Magazine to talk about the tracks in Weekend Breaks label. 2002 Thanks to these previous publications, labels from all over the world started to take an interest in publishing Deibeat´s tracks, and as a result, the prestigious English label Re:connet which belong to Future Funk Squad, gave to Deibeat the posibility to make a remix of High Eight "Tear It Up ", which received excellent reviews of the whole scene. It was also included in the compilation New: BPM Vol. 2 (2xCD) EN:VISION. Kankana Records will charge a remix of the track "What time is it?", A track of his good friends "Baymont Bross". Publish 2 tracks "NEVER END" and "ADAGGIO" in the compilation of Bit Music "Break Beat Festival." Later "NEVER END" is edited into a 12 ". It takes place one of his most important performances in "ESPARRAGO 2002". 14 years of history festival at the time, which brought more than 22,000 attendees. It starts at 22:00, a set of 2 hours and get together in around 10,000 people dancing in front of the stage, getting as well that the publication ROCK INDY highlight his performance that night. Some of the artist playing in that festival are Richie Hawtin, Fangoria, Freq Nasty, Jordy Slate, Mr Lobo, Extremoduro, Sidereal, Iggy Pop, Garbage, Orishas .... 2003 Loes Lee, famous Dutch DJ, host of the radio program Urban Revolution and owner of the label Moving Target, decided to publish a 12" with "FUNKOVERFLOW" and "I KNOW YOUR DREAMS" ,two new tracks from DeiBeat who received acclamation being cataloged for some producers, as the best publication of Moving Target so far. "FUNKOVERFLOW" was included in the compilation ALTERNATIVE CLUB (April 2003 USA) and "I KNOW YOUR DREAMS" in the UK UNDERGROUND BEATS (March 2003 UK) Continue to participate in festivals of ANIMALIA collective but also other major promoters as Nätural or Satisfaxion contracted his performances for their events, in successive editions as "GATE FUTURE" or "AL-ANDALUS RETRO. 2004 Decided to open his own label, Digital Bounds, publishing this year 2 references with the tracks, "BEFORE I GO MAD / METAMORPHOSIS" and "LOVEHATE BREAKS / FUTURE FUNK SQUAD MIX." "BEFORE I GO MAD" was included in "BREAKBEAT SERIES 3" Satisfaxion Recordings."METAMORPHOSIS" on the compilation "A NEW BREAKBEAT EXPERIENCE" Bit Music. LOVEHATE BREAKS included in "BREAKBEAT DIAMOND 'N Mitty Sound, label that belongs to his great friend Peter Paul. Deibeat signed a contract to play in "FESTIVALIA 04" with Atomic Hooligan, Peter Paul ....Sala Q in Seville. Also was one of the djs who got the oportunity to show his performance in the second edition of "BREAKNATION", Palenque in Seville, sharing poster with Freq Nasty,Violadores del Verso, Ellis Dee, Triple XXX, Tote King, Jefe de la M. .... 2005 JMekka, driver of the best radio station in UK calls I-BREAKS, and owner of the label with the same name, signed the track "We Rock The Party" which got place at the top of the best sellers lists during several weeks. Subsequently, the track is included on 3 compilation, MUSH UP of Discograph, IT'S ONLY A MIXTAPE: Vol1 of Ministry of Sound and SO FAR SO GOOD-I-Breaks. This year he published by Groove Master Sound a remix of Nitro´s track called "NIGHTOLOGY" and another remix from the same artist called "THIS WAY." With really good reviews and sopport from important people in the breakbeat scene. Make a remix of a theme from CHAMBAO "PLAYAS DE BARBATE" published in an EP entitled "CHAMBAO GREATEST REMIXES" with 4 remixes, Deibeat remix, Dr.Kucho remix and Xpansul remix..... Emphasizes his participation in this year 'SUMMER FESTIVAL 2005 organized by Raveart, Algeciras (Cadiz). The festival mix electronic and groups of all styles, in this venue was people like: Ofunkillo Leroy Thornhill, Shotta, La Mala Rodriguez .... Resident dj for the summer season in "FENICIA BEACH CLUB" in Torre del mar (Malaga). 2006 Massive Music selected DEIBEAT as a producer for Spanish participation in the world of remixes organized by ADIDAS, that'll leave the soundtrack for programs "IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING" issued by MTV on the occasion of World Of Soccer Germany 2006. The prestigious promoter NÄTURAL offered to Deibeat a vacancy to be a member of this collective. ”Time to Rock” is published on I-BREAKS label, which is included in the compilation of DISTINCTIVE called "ANNIE NIGHTINGALE PRESENTS Y4K." Having sopport for this artist. After this publication DEIBEAT decided to emigrate to Palma de Mallorca, leaving his usual base in Cadiz, where continues producing new breakbeat tracks and where got new influences from several music styles in the island, as electro, minimal house, minimal techo, which give to his tracks new and fresh style. participates in the 7 th Anniversary of Nätural "SUPER REMEMBER" in Palenke Seville and sharing poster with artist like: Uberzone, Tony Faline, Koma 'n' Bones, Felipe Volume, DJ Killer, Jordy Slate, DJ Man , Memo, Ramiroquai .... www.natural-pro.com Deibeat also had a contract for the 11 sixth edition of "AL-ANDALUS RETRO" Satisfaxion at the Coliseum in Atarfe (Grenada).
