- Now producing as Stillhead. DFRNT produced deep dubstep and dub-influenced techno and electronic music, ran the Echodub and Cut labels, wrote SittingOvation and hosted the still-running Insight Podcast.DFRNT, now Stillhead, AKA Alex Cowles is a music producer, DJ and designer. He produces deep dub-techno, house, bass, chill-out and electronic music. His DJ sets are best described as deep, but danceable. He hosts the regular Insight podcast where he showcases music that he enjoys. He also ran the Echodub label putting out select releases from a variety of producers. He also runs the Cut and Brightest Dark Place labels.
