- didier started djing in th early 90s under the Name of Didier de la Boutique in places like Rolling Stone ,Rock Babilon, Ratinger Hof or Unique Club in Düsseldorf ...I collected “Rekids” from Opp Shops from age 13 and began to “Dj” mixing Funk, Soul, R&B, Nuyorican in the area of Düsseldorf in 1994. Back then, the idea of putting your hands on a vinyl record was practically sacrilegious coming more the collectors side. To a great extent I do not refer to any particular style I am simply obsessed to combine them. In 1992 I bought my first pair of Technics Mk2 with the intention to break that rule infected by a virus called House Music attending parties at Warehouse, Omen, Ultraschall, Tresor,Space or Festivals like VooV Experience, Fusion or Boom. After six month in Auckland in 1996 i decided to moved to Berlin and quickly got involved into Berlins vibrating funk scene. I started playing regular in small east-berlin bars or underground clubs like Lovelite up to bigger venues like Grüner Salon, Cookies, 103 or Rio. At that time i had experienced to share the stage with Collectors such as Eddy Piller (Acid Jazz) or Henry Storch (Unique Club) learning from scratch to “read a crowd ” and how to tell a story with music. I had the pleasure to play with institutions like Shinedoe, Radioslave, Michael Mayer, Jon Gaiser, Oliver Huntermann, Tobias Thomas, Dominik Eulberg, Gabriel Ananda or Ben Clock. In 2000 I teamed up with Edgar Peng aka Ras ( Sonar Kollektiv) under the name of Turmspringer. Our taste, backgrounds and individual vinyl collections made us become a DJ and Producer Team. Turmspringer became major players on Berlin’s Techno and House circuit since 2004. The colorful sound and infectious positive energy behind the decks made us quickly from an insider tip to one of Berlin’s most wanted DJs and let us travel 4 continents . Since 2004 we book Thursday and Friday Nights at Golden Gate Berlin and played regular in place such as Bar 25, Sisyphos, Maria, Suicide Circus, Rummelsbucht, Sisiyphos or Kosmonaut. I released tracks on labels like Get Physical, Klasse, E.Minor, Blaq, Tonkind, Panta, Kung Fu Dub Killa Beat, Leutral, Subsonic Music and amoung friends I created our platform Compute Music in 2015.
