Biografía

  • Digitalkaos, DJ and producer from Granada, Spain. A devoted vinyl enthusiast, exclusively using this format for his Techno DJ sets
A music enthusiast from an early age in the 1980s, he began experimenting with electronic rhythms as a child, creating his first samples using rudimentary chip-tune software and a legendary MSX 8-bit computer of the time. His role as a DJ emerged in the early 2000s during the golden era of techno in Granada. A lover of vinyl format, his skill and expertise behind the turntables quickly earned him a place in the Granada techno scene, becoming a regular in the booths of clubs and discos in his hometown. Notable venues include Antigua Industrial Copera, Sala Wow (formerly Sala Energia), Revert (Industrial Copera), Opera 4, Sala Suite, 113 Club, Quilombo Club, MoonBack the Club, Sala The Power, Sala Vogue, La Telonera, Sala El Tren, Noise Club, D'Cuadros; Track's Club, and festivals such as Rocket Festival, Senosoidal Festival, or Dragon Festival in Orgiva (one of Europe's largest Teknivals). He has shared the stage with renowned artists like Jerome Hills, Pendulum, Pepo, Duárt, Pelacha, Evil Nine, Adam Freeland, Rasco, Lady Packa, Jordy Slate, Felipe Volumen, Memo, Tetsuya Ura, Jamie Behan, David Moleon, Sergy Castle, Darkrow, and more. In 2011, he worked for two seasons as the director and presenter of the radio show "Music In Motion Radio" on the popular station "Diva Sound Radio" in Granada. Co-founder in 2009 of the record label Play Techno Records, where he managed until 2014. Part of his productions can be found under the alias Nano D.A. on labels such as Jamenba Records, Nocturnal Sounds Records, Psicopatic Rec., Hexil Creative, or Hexil Black Music, among others. Throughout the decade, he also collaborated with the alias "The Crash Dummies" alongside artist Marc Throw. Under this pseudonym, the duo performed exclusively on vinyl in a 4 decks & 2 mixer format and released music in the market. In 2022, he launched a new Digital Record Label, "Mechanical Wave Records," focusing on the purist techno sound. He is also a co-founder of its creation and is in charge of musical curation and artists. In 2022, he participated in the founding of the cultural society "33rpm DJ Culture Society," where he currently holds the position of vice president. Through workshops and events, the society promotes vinyl culture. His sets and productions are influenced by electronic music from the eighties, defined by thick basslines, powerful kicks, and the distinctive groove that characterizes this artist both in his works and in his technique behind the turntables. In 2021, after the hiatus caused by the pandemic, this artist initiated a new musical project—a 100% analog live show. This venture expands his musical spectrum, blending the techno sound and transporting us to the beginnings of electro with sounds from the iconic 808 drum machines, Roland synthesizers of the time, and vintage sequencers that characterize this early genre. In essence, describing this artist's music could be defined as "MUSIC FOR ADULTS" in capital letters.
