- Alex Graham has been Djing since 1990 when he got his first set of decks at the tender age of 14. After attending a house party on a night out, Alex caught the bug when shown how to mix, and after four months found himself on the other end of the turnt..Alex Graham has been Djing since 1990 when he got his first set of decks at the tender age of 14. After attending a house party on a night out, Alex caught the bug when shown how to mix, and after four months found himself on the other end of the turntables. This led to Alex headlining at private parties, illegal raves and guest spots. Launching his Dj career, Alex performed regularly around his hometown of Belfast and has a huge fan base throughout Ireland. His interest in music spurned from his classical music training and during the years he has gained grades in no less than 15 instruments. This has opened many doors for Alex in all aspects of the music industry. Alex’s passion for music has meant that he has progressed quickly, and during the last few years his djing has seen him play at many of the top venues in Ireland to rapturous responses e.g. Milk, Event Horizon, Thompson’s Mynt and Temple bar music centre … the list is endless. Expanding his interests further and using his working knowledge of Event management saw Alex follow his dream of putting together from start to finish 'Event Horizon'. This was and still is Ireland’s first and best after hours (all-nighter) club venue, that has played host to many of the industries top Dj‘s. Alex has a very strong client list that he has collated over the years as well as a large loyal following. Alex talent and energetic style has meant that he has graced the decks with many top names such as Seamus Haji, Wally Lopez, Bodyrox, Eric E to name but a few. Alex has also worked alongside many of the industries top Diva vocalists, Angie Brown, Rozalla, Hanna Jones and Toyah Wilcox, many of whom have stated a definite interest in working with Alex again. Presently Alex is working alongside side America’s “Dance Diva“, Pepper Mashay, Hed Kandi’s Americk Channa as well as world renowned saxophonist and vocalist “ The Lovely Laura sax”. Another reason for Alex success has been his ongoing commitment to his studio and production work. Although Alex has only been in the studio for less than a year his tracks and remixes have already been picked up by many of the worlds top Dj’s. They have been played in many places around the world from Ibiza to Australia. Alex first love is and always will be Funky house, however recently his sound has got more Electronic based. This can be heard in his production and remixes. Last year was a great year for Alex as he signed a ongoing recording contract with glamorous house label Miss Moneypennys. This has not only seen him write for the label but also remix for other artists associated with the brand. 2009 promises to be busy for Alex with many tracks and remixes scheduled for release, as well as working on some larger long term projects with artists such as Pepper Mashay, Laura Sax (Hed Kandi) Amrick Channa (MOS/Stereo Sushi) And Shanie (Alex Party), the list goes on. He is also now working with a number of different labels from Moneypenny's, Oxyd, Hollister, Neurotic Groove, Metrogroove through to one of Pete Tongs labels and has gained support from DJ's and other atrists across the globe.
