Since 2007 we have listened to his sets in several clubs in the islands, delivering an amazing groove and great taste in his sets, what has turned him to be the resident dj at clubs like Velvet Club, Heaven, Rebel Electronic Dance Club, Mood Club and at festivals like Discontrol, Magma or Impaktum, sharing decks with the most important dj´s all around. In 2009 he had his first residence in a small club of his home town (Las Palmas) called Moma Club, where every Saturday he rocked the night of the city and its music lovers. Djohnny is currently working with one of the most important promoters in Canary Islands, Under Your Seat, working with artists such as Javier Carballo, Berna and Alex Santana. In 2011 he started editing as a producer for the label Overall Music, and in the latest years he has edited several releases on labels like Lust Recordings, Gimmick Records, Movements Label and again in Overall Music, getting support from great artists all around, what has given him the chance to play in many clubs in Europe, like Revier in Zurich, promoted by Les Enfants Terribles. This producer´s sound is influenced by the 90´s Chicago house mixed with the influence of Canary artists like Hanfry Martinez or Javier Carballo. Tim Green, Subb-an and Adam Shelton among others, have included some of his tracks in their podcasts for Fabric, Air London and Red Bull London Studios.
