Biografía
- Born and raised in Paris, Simbad moved to Cordoba, Argentina at 17.Born and raised in Paris, where his reggae-dub roots were nourished with hip hop through years of graffiti raids, and with techno and house after listening to many artists live, at age 17 Simbad moved to Cordoba, Argentina. In 1996 he started djing at clubs and cultural events. He co-organized a series of interdisciplinary events and teamed up with visual artists, writers and musicians as Dialogo Beat collective. Among the most representative gigs he’s played we can list SonarSound, Micro Mutek, Resident Advisor Party, Soup and Creamfields in Buenos Aires, Buenas Noches Trimarchi in Mar del Plata, Minimal Dancing in Paris, Piknic Electronik in Montreal and different venues in Brazil, Uruguay and Mexico. Simbad has shared decks and his music style with such artists as Sammy Dee, Matthew Dear, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Radio Slave and Efdemin.
