Thanks to that labour of love, he has become known locally and internationally in the industry for having cultivated a formidably growing niche with his grassroots collective Lobo and Brake Out and its partners, which introduced new sounds, artists like Shackleton, Ras-G, Mike Paradinas, Luke Vibert and Label like Planet Mu, Brainfeeder, Ninja Tune and Deep Medi to the Italian fashion capital like. The musical research and approach that informs the programming of Lobo nights is reflected in DNN's work: after cutting his teeth on the Underground Jungle scene about a decade ago, the 29 year old has become the kind of DJ for whom genre preoccupations take a back seat, while quality, vibes and dancefloor mastery take centre stage.
