- === Music is my life, music is my wife, music is my hope, music is my dope ===Domingo Romero was born of spanish parents on the 20th February 1980 in Liestal / BL (Switzerland). At 14 he had already discovered the pleasure of music. Although Domingo did not know at the time, that one day he would become a DJ, he had already purchased his first vinyl in London. At the Newcomer Awards 1998/99, which took place in Basel, he won second place on the Technofloor. Domingo found himself inspired within the realms of the Techno sound of Sven Väth and Carl Cox at the Timewarp Party. For the first time Domingo stands beside his brother behind the turntable and he has the opportunity to mix for himself and to let his thoughts mingle with the music. From here on it is only a short step to his assembling his own equipment and giving his creativity free rein. For Domingo, music is the highest form of his self expression. Above all he prefers the electronic forms, Elektro, Special-Techno, Tech-House and Minimal. He concentrated on this style until he had perfected it and his CD's were mixed during long days and even longer nights, losing track of time. The demand for his work grew and grew. Performances in bars and at private parties became always more frequent. In the forefront stands his audience, whom he so much likes to enchant with his world of sound. As a DJ he has been able to perfect this for 15 years. Staying true to his style and with deep feeling for atmosphere on the dance-floor, he plays his sets from the heart to bring his audience into the right party mood. Even though he wishes to remain true to himself and his style, he is always open to consider new developments. Whatever the future holds in store for Domingo as a DJ, it will continue to be a source of interest to his fans.
