- starting with be_chosen in 2007 - dosdos now found the way back behind the decks .. starting early in the 90´s now he will develope a new side of presenting be_chosen & strictly chosen to the audienceThe man behind be_chosen got his first introduction to electronic music in the early 90's. "The first time I went to Omen and Dorian Gray - Niki remembers - I felt that there was something very special, almost magicial going on." From that point on he was fascinated by the electronic scene in Frankfurt, having fun at clubs like XS, Music-Hall and visiting concerts like Anne Clark and Depeche Mode. During that time DosDos was no longer satisfied with only partying. He started working at Neuton Distribution, where he explored the world of vinyl. "I was obsessed with vinyl. I started listening to every record, I could possibly get. When I liked it, I bought it." Niki admits. In the meanwhile he started playing at local events, collected more and more vinyl’s and nevertheless he joined the local frankfurt dj collective Delirium House Division (where he met one of his current studio partners: Chris Wood). During those years he met many Artists, DJ´s and got lots of influences from people, parties and different cultures from around the world … it was time for the next evolution: run a own label and represent a own style of music! “The Chosen Style” Be_Chosen was found in 2007. The idea of Be_Chosen is to give talented DJ´s, artists and newcomers a base to create there own innovative sound and release those ideas on vinyl and also digitally with Be_chosen Digital. Part 2 of creating an own sound was done in 2009: Strictly Chosen - the second, more house flavoured label, which also already found a great reputation in the market. After focusing on both labels, djing faded more and more into the background. Now it´s time to come back to be an active part and feel (see) how clubs are reacting to the new sound of Be Chosen/Strictly Chosen ... THE TIME IS NOW!!
