- Hassan Mallick/Dr.DJ is the founder of Black Peach Project,a Karachi based movement viewed as an instrumental part of Pakistan's electronic music uprising. A real-live doctor, he looks to heal body and soul of all conditions with medicine or musicDr.Hassan Mallick aka Dr.DJ has been pushing the scene in Karachi since 2015: throwing legendary parties, promoting and training aspiring DJs and mixing eclectic forward thinking sets. His musical style is dynamic and versatile, favoring ethnic and oriental avenues but always nurturing the dance floor towards a positive vibe. He's known for creating vibes in the most nervous of venues and is a hot-favorite for the crunch opening slot of many a venture. As a (as yet unsigned) producer he embraces all electronica realms, with releases ranging from progressive house to downtempo beauties. Claims to fame/looking to impress: Part of the UBS/Mercedes Benz 2016 F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix musical festivities. Opening for internationally acclaimed Finnebassen of Norwegian fame. Running the largest and most prolific DJ collective in Pakistan. Live fusion sets with folk percussive instruments including the djembe, darbuka, and tabla alongside local drummer/percussionist Aziz Kazi of Coke Studio fame. He currently resides in London, UK where he is hoping to make an impact on the global musical front in this smoky cauldron of cutting edge electronic music.
