Biografía
- A DJ/Producer and co-owner of the Riddim Chango imprint.Element, a DJ, producer, and co-owner of the Riddim Chango imprint, was born in Kyoto, Japan, and later relocated to London. During his 9-year stint in the UK, he immersed himself in UK’s soundsystem culture, music scene, DJing, worked as a Reggae buyer at a second-hand record shop, and launched his label. His sound, a unique blend of Dub, Roots, and Dancehall, resonates distinctively within the music scene. Notable collaborations include the critically-acclaimed "Freedom" with Jamaican poet Nazamba, a potent exploration of black oppression, and the boundary-pushing Andromeda EP with the LA/JA dancehall collective, Duppy Gun. His upcoming work, an EP due for release on Tokyo's experimental label, newdubhall, in June 2023.
