- The producer, artist and live performer Eric May based in Berlin, Germany integrates himself more and more into the electronic music scene fascinating with his sets and productions between Techno, Minimal, Deep and Tech House. Eric May is definitely on..Eric May is a musician, songwriter, producer and autodidact who plays piano, guitar and drums. When 19 years old Eric worked as a promoter for a quite famous club in Düsseldorf. Inspired by deejays like Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Armand van Helden, Eric Morillo or Felix da Housecat he decided to start a deejay career himself. His early mix tapes were first distributed among friends and family but later reached people outside his clique due to a large appreciation of Eric's taste of music and his deejay skills. This recognition helped Eric to get his first serious bookings. Later, Eric visited the SAE College in Cologne and learned the basic techniques of audio engineering which he still improves constantly. His first releases were published by the Swiss digital label iM Electronic. In 2012 Eric decided to go a step further and left his home city where an electronic music culture hardly existed. Now, living in Berlin Eric integrates himself more and more into the electronic music scene fascinating with his sets and productions between Techno, Minimal, Deep and Tech House. Quite recently the famous Berlin based label Ostfunk Records discovered the talented newcomer and decided to release Eric's first EP with the catchy name La Tromba. Eric May is definitely one to keep in consideration for the future.
