Biografía
- (Real name Alexandros Christodoulides) is an electronic musician, producer and DJ hailing from Amsterdam. EYCEE is known for producing forward-sounding club cuts and - in his DJ sets - blending sounds spanning house, jungle, UKG, funky, electro & bass.In 2018 he released his debut EP, Delicate Drippin, on London-based label Sans Absence - run by DJ and Producer Akito. Hot on the heels of his first release, EYCEE followed up with Valuables. The UK funky-infused cut from this EP, ‘Love & BS’ was nominated for the prestigious Xite 2020 Music Video of the Year Award. A former DJ on the now defunct Red Light Radio, EYCEE has been slamming out mixes on a multitude of platforms, with numerous acclaimed guest mixes for radio stations around the world. Outside of his own mixes, his tracks have reached many ears through Boiler Room sets and radio stations such as Triple J (AUS), NTS and BBC Radio 1(UK). In addition to his commitment & love of DJing, EYCEE has played his part in contributing to the Amsterdam club scene over the past decade, founding & operating numerous popular club nights across the city. One of them being the label and clubnight: PARDON, which recently made its return to Amsterdam nightlife after a period of turbulence (Pandemic). The event takes place bi-monthly in the exciting new space, Parallel (formerly known as Paradiso Noord). Previous guests include; Two Shell, Pangea, Ploy, Interplanetary Criminal, Conducta & more.
