Biografía
- Fábio Costa is currently a dj/music producer of several styles of electronic music with differents projects. It's a dj of techno/tech house/house/deep house.Fábio Costa is an early clubber who began attending Dance Music nightclubs in the late 80s , when he had contact with the revolution of electronic music at the time, from Kraftwerk to Kevin Saunderson, Front 242 to Acid House . Participated in several contests in the electronic dance scene of his hometown , Londrina - Brazil, winning several titles . Between late 80s and early 90s, he knew importants and legendaries Brazil nightclubs such as Contra-Mão, Toco and Up & Down . In the '90s, after a break of a few years, he began to attend raves organizations in his city, with undergrounds djs, where he had contact with more alternative house and techno once again, being influenced as producers by Funk D' Void, Empirion, CJ Bolland, Tesox, Chris Liberator, Orbital, Mauro Picotto, Green Velvet and so on. In the late 90s, he began producing and playing at parties sponsored by DJ Daus. His first track was published in the extinct and striking brazilian electronic music site, Fiberonline, called Gabba & House which was an attempt to blend the Rotterdam Hardcore style with a touch of House, in one of the first DAWs ... Rebirth. With the beginning of his musical output , simultaneous with DJ Daus, the two DJs and producers decided to join forces and released their first album of electronic music from Londrina. The partnership was extended for a few more albums and singles, being kept until the present at the legendary project Protoplasmatik . In the early 2000s, Fábio Costa traveled to what he considered the Dance world capital, despite Chicago, Detroit , Berlin ... It was London. It happened in London the third electronic musical influence, this time rediscovering Garage and House Music from the past, his return to Disco Music, the discovery of Salsoul and his forcefulness in contemporary dance scene. All these stages of musical influence permeated the production of their projects in 2000 decade, with eclecticism and open mind to the wider world of Electronica. His projects, Vegas 8, Redland, Vega, Squirm Project and partnership Protoplasmatik flirted with sonically distinct and varying styles from soulful house to techno, trance to trip hop, funky house to gabba/rotterdam hardcore.
