- Figi (Vijay Weemhoff) is an Amsterdam based music producer and DJ continuously crafting his own sound.Dutch electronic music producer Figi (Vijay Weemhoff) is continuously crafting his own sound. After finishing his studies in Music & Technology, he has been focussing on making tracks full of life, grit and groove. By playing classic analogue synths and sometimes recording musicians to perform the parts he composes he’s trying to get the ideas he hears in his head out there for you to listen to. Since his debut release “2099” on Amsterdam based label Magnetron Music he’s been working on many projects including his liveshow (with band and solo), debut album, forthcoming collaboration EP’s and productions for various artists. Live, Figi is joined by Gaël Hutubessy & Sola Lutringer. As a band, they'll provide a super danceable live experience in which they'll perform releases & new demo’s that remind of (Italo/Boogie/Space) Disco, Electro and Funk. As a DJ, Figi plays only for the dancers and likes to mix various styles like: (Italo/Boogie/Space) Disco, (Detroit/The Hague) Techno/Electro, New Wave & Jazz.
