- sound sculptor & cosmic traveler from Bucharest. 1/2 of kosmogonik.FILIPP is the solo project of Xander Kosmo Filipp - the famous sound sculptor from Bucharest. Coming from a family with no musical background, the romanian sculptor traveled barefoot to Berlin, and from there to Detroit to learn from the biggest artists of his era. He even worked in Jeff Mills' studio for two months but left saying "Nothing can groew under big trees" and pursued in shaping his unique style. Xander Kosmo Filipp seeks inspiration in primitive exoticism, retrofuturism, astrology, quantum mechanics, literature and just about everything. His music emphasizes crisp geometrical beats that balance with smooth melodic lines and symbolic allusions of his day-to-day. He doesn't open for big names in the industry, nor he releases music on major labels, but the value of his work is not to be underestimated, Xander Kosmo being a distinct figure in Bucharest's evergrowing underground scene. He also founded the live act @kosmogonik in collaboration with @ardb from @Lisiere Collectif
