- Fischer & Kleber aka Robert Fischer and Niklas Kleber met at space-Ibiza in 1998. In the same year they started playing music together and formed different projects. In the same year they started playing music together and formed different projects. In their kindergarten years both of them started developing their passion for music, Robert started playing the drums and Niklas started playing the guitar! While touring worldwide in punk, indie & jazz bands over the years, they supported bands like Duran Duran, Das Pop, Wir sind Helden, Mediengruppe Telekommander etc., they found their passion for producing and beat-driven music. Founding Fischer & Kleber in 2010, their first release was Souvenir #23, with Remix support by Keinemusik owner and producer &ME. Followed by tracks on the „Raveline-Compilation“ and Souvenir´s „In the City-Compilation“. After several other releases their first EP was released on Souvenir in December 2012. The title track “Air” is also featured on “Watergate Compilation 13″ mixed by Ruede Hagelstein. Their unique live concept lives through groove-forward-drum machines, live Harmonica, Trumpets and delayed gloomy guitars.. The percussive and partly improvised Live Performances guided them the way to some of europe’s finest clubs, including Watergate Berlin, Cocoon Club Frankfurt or the legendary Pacha in Ibiza, to name a few.
