- With an unrivaled passion for DJing, dance music and clubbing, Fox MacLeod is devoted to pushing barriers, rocking bass bins and pushing the musical envelope...As well as holding down 3 club residencies in the UK, Fox MacLeod has a DJ schedule that has seen him rock dance-floors in Miami, London and the Balearics. With a unique and energetic DJing style that embraces sounds and samples from across the House music soundscape, his talents have led him to warm up for the biggest names in the business (including Calvin Harris and David Guetta). Some of 2011's highlights included a prolific gig playing in Space (Ibiza), rocking out a marathon DJ set to a capacity crowd at the T in the Park festival and DJing 4500 meters above sea level at the top of the Austrian Alps for the legendary Snowbombing festival! As an accomplished DJ, guitarist, drummer and pianist, Fox has only recently propelled himself into the producer era of his career. His debut track - 'Zinc' (signed to Black Hole Recordings) shot straight into the DMC Buzz Chart at number 23 and was supported by Gareth Emery, Sean Tyas, Markus Schulz and many, many more! Black Hole instantly asked Fox back to remix a forthcoming track on the label, entitled ‘Fine Day’. Much to his surprise, journalists compared the Fox MacLeod remix to the electronic bands that shaped the sphere of dance music - making glowing comparisons to legendary acts including New Order and Human League! To express a much techier and experimental side to his sound, Fox has also joined artists such as Zedd, by releasing an EP on the iconic BugEyed record label! Look out for '3.9 Redline' - a peak-time Tech-House bomb, and 'BaseJump', an Electro-House monster that features an unexpected twist.
