- “WITH A HEART FILLED OF MUSIC YOU CAN WALK THE LOANLIEST ROAD AND BE THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD”“WITH A HEART FILLED OF MUSIC YOU CAN WALK THE LOANLIEST ROAD AND BE THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD” Francesco Poggi Setting his focus on music and presuming that dream to the core of its belief, the belief that this is what Francesco life was supposed to be about, it has given him the travel and experience that only a few will have the opportunity to experience. Traveling to east Europe, central Europe and returning frequently to the Mediterranean scene where the journey began, in Tuscany, Italy, All because he is not just requested, but greatly appreciated, as a dj and producer. With the well know Insomia after party, Poggi’s stroke his first residency in the UK, and he travelled the world on their tour, and today he can be found playing for TND, Big Fish Afterhours and Movimento. Movimento has from its first party in 2010 gone from strength to strength under his influence and the project provided a long wanted return to Ibiza in 2012, Bora Bora, with the official tour of Movimento afterhours; where he set the norm for how a set it built, presented and delivered. Francesco currently hold a bi-monthly residency with The Galley, 103, at Ministry of Sound; but can also be found recurrently at Covert (UK), Red Zone (Italy) and The Brixton Club House (UK) to mention a few. Francesco has also on numerous occasion headlined the progressive room at the remote trance promotion ‘Acid Monkey’. Poggi has over the years been rubbing shoulders and played alongside some of our most honoured dj profiles including (but not merely) Dave Seaman, Mauro Picotto, Finnebassen, Mr C, Christian Smith, Lewis Ryder– and his productions and dj-sets also has the likes of Severino Pagano, Marco Effe, Loverdose and Gavyn Mytchel. Francesco additionally plays and produces alongside Fabiano Bilangia, as Virustage (www.virustage.com / www.myspace.com/virustageofficial), and in 2011 they put their musical talent together to found Stendhal Records, label and production agency (www.stendhalrecords.com). Stirring an interest from their first release on the own managed label with NOW MOVE (Virustage 2012) followed shortly by DREAMING (Virustage Remix 2012), and have currently landed six times in the top 100 - Deep House / New Disco chart on Beatport - out of their nine releases. Francesco has also releases on the American label Monique Musique.
