- DJ/Producer since 2006 bookings at darkroomdubs.comFRESKA alias became a fair wind for admirers of original, magically-melodious and extremely bewitching music. Having caused supersonic ripples throughout the underground dance community since his debut release on Stil Vor Talent first hit the shelves in 2006, Evgeny is about to drop his long-awaited single series. Now based in Barcelona, the Murmansk born producer and dj has mentioned being influenced by scandinavian wave and 70’s prog rock, but anything from the percussive attack of early acid house and Detroit techno also pitch in to what he astutely describes as ‘rhythm and soul’. Appearing under the “Freska” alias also on diverse record labels such as Traum, Connoisseur, Azuli, Soma, Lo Recordings and Darkroom Dubs for whom he presented his first LP “Wrong Songs” (2013). A combination that makes complete musical sense and extensive library of musical knowledge translate his dj sets into the widely eclectic joirneys which sometimes can be last all night.
