Gábor Lázár

Biografía

  • Super-forward techno reductions combining viscerally affective electronic timbre and hyperkinetic patterns.
Born in Budapest, 1989, Gábor Lázár has generated a body of work which dissects 2-step, grime and electro with expert precision across releases for Lorenzo Senni’s ‘Presto!?!’, Boomkats ‘Death Of Rave’, and collaborative releases with the likes of the inimitable Russell Haswell and Mark Fell- an album which was stated as one of the best avant albums of the year by Rolling Stone. Gabor’s latest album and accompanying audio-visual show ‘Unfold’ is defined but by no means restricted to visceral and affective hyperkinetic electronic patterns, which has been picked up by some of the worlds most forward thinking sonic establishments, including the House Of Electronic Arts (Basel), Atonal (Berlin), Shape Platform, Unsound (Krakow) and his music has been played by Aphex Twin at his performances at Field Day and Primavera Sound in 2017.
