GAMA LABEL HEADGABRIELLA VERGILOV (BG/DK) Gabriella Vergilov is The fastest growing Bulgarian-born Copenhagen-based multidisciplanary electronic Music artist hailing from the temperament Balkans while spreading to Denmark and beyond. DJ/PRODUCER/SINGER/SONGWRITTER- this girl has it all, believe it or not. Her signature discography of 83 Tracks from techno/house/acid/electro to straight dancefloor burners, filled with groove, undeniable sensuality and Vergilov’s signature vocals- won The support of high class world DJs like Ben Klock, Charlotte De Witte, DVS1, B.Traits, Nastia, Lea Ochhi, Len Faki, Ben Sims and more. Vergilov has shared the decks with some of Industry’s most respected artists and visionaries like Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, Gerd Janson, DJ Tennis, Dubfire and many more. Her own productions regularly appear in various DJ sets at the world’s best dance floor : Berghain/Panorama bar, as well as around the globe. Her second Boiler Room appearance in Sofia, as well as her latest HÖR set are a definite proof of solid work ethic, contagious presence and a precise technical skill, both behind the decks and in the studio, all resulting from an obsessive state of love for music & aestetics. Her impressive discography and powerhouse presence hasn't go unnoticed. She is the first Bulgarian artist with an interview and a guest mix at Redbull Radio Headquarters in Manhattan, as well as the first Bulgarian female artist with a guest DJ mix for the iconic French radio station RinseFM. Same goes to possibly worlds most important radio station for music BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6, where she had her music included in several prestigious shows. Gabriella’s music skill and affinity goes beyond the dance floor and in 2018 she landed a deal with fashion giant PRADA for their LINNEA ROSSA social media campaign, where the artist delivered 3 breakbeat unreleased tracks of hers to soundtrack the campaign. Her ambient piece “ FILEDIUM”- a heavy dense and bassy tune is part of the Belgian/French Movie “Le Fidele” (the Belgian entry to the OSCAR’s for the year), as well. In her original productions the artist uses her native Bulgarian language often to communicate to her homie-audience, as much as she does it in English with the rest of the world, too. Her music is highly autobiographical and none of the songs written are just a “coincidence”. In late October 2023 World’s best media for electronic music MIXMAG acknowledged Gabriella’s talents by making her the first Bulgarian artist to drop an in-depth interview for their exceptionally reputable series “IMPACT”, where she spoke about the perks of being a girl from a minority Balkan country, why her and KINK are the only ones to represent Bulgaria on the world stage for techno, her dedication to both her resident scenes-Sofia and Copenhagen, her battle with C-PTSD and desire to empower other females all around trough her musical art and femininity. Award winning journalist Annabel Ross described the artist as “Gabriella Vergilov has flown curiously under the radar considering her achievements” and the media named her “the one to watch” in one of their earlier editions. BOILER ROOM didn’t miss to admit her achievements, too. She is the fist ever female artist from Bulgaria and only the second act after KINK to appear on BOILER ROOM. One can say that she might be the only Bulgarian artist to perform on one stage, in one day with three techno legends: Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin and Ben Klock. Defined by an infectious presence on the stage, a signature finesse in her productions and an obsessive passion for sound, her take on today’s dancefloor music is rather idiosyncratic, cinematic, multidisciplinary and layered with Vergilov’s signature vocals. Voice that comes as a cultivation of love for singing, which will shine on more in focus in Gabriella’s debut album, set for release in 2024. Professionally trained as a piano player and 10 years of contemporary dancing have prepared her with the stamina to perform music on stages, where audiences are undeniably falling in LOVe with GV’s LOV for the magical world of sound.
