Biografía
- Selector, Party-maker, DigBig Don!Over the last decade, Garo has been a key architect of Bulgaria’s electronic scene. As booker and curator of the Studio EW, Garo was instrumental in putting Sofia on the map for serious record heads, whilst also appearing as long-time resident and booker of Meadows in the Mountains Festival. Based in Berlin for over ten years, he is a well-known face in underground circles and is the promoter of his own event ДРОБ at Berlin party institution Renate. Dedication and diligence towards unearthing dusty treasures have endowed him with that much sought-after ability to effortlessly blend old school and contemporary alike. Favouring acid-tingled, electro, and leftfield cuts when he’s in the booth, Garo’s talent for unearthing eclectic and boundary-breaking records saw him naturally launch his own record label, DigBig Records, in 2021. Always bearing a wide grin from ear to ear, Garo´s infectiously positive and charming persona allied to his distinguished ability for selecting fine, cerebral records has since seen him quietly and unassumingly gain the plaudits of more established peers in the scene.
