Geche "Geshe" or "Virtuous Friend" adopts the monastical name from the spiritual directors of Tibetan Buddhism, being classically trained himself he considers that complete sanctity and control of mind has been achieved, his robes have been earned and it is now time for his tantric compositions to be released upon his subjects. Ordained on the Amiga computer, Violin and Ableton, Geche's unobstructed knowledge of ancient philosophical teachings are presented in a futuristic waveform that delivers soul and healing but with the vision, wisdom and vast "parts" reservoir akin to any of his spiritual techno forefathers. Geche has been inspired by the Warp Records "root guru" himself Steve Beckett, who delivered a sanctimonial blessing which loosely translates to - "one of them tracks could work on one of my compilations one day". Having just returned from a brief meditational retreat, Geche has emerged as part child, part shadow, having now consumed his alter-ego Valvestat. An audible internal battle now presides delivering fractured soundscapes whilst finely balancing innate conflicts of debate over commentary, restraint over aggression and abstract over formality.
