  • Gelka aka Csaba Kürti is a Hungarian downtempo artist. His music is a unique blend of ambient, slow house, trip-hop and neoclassical sound that has earned him a reputation as one of the most known chillout acts from Hungary.
    Gelka has been featured on a number of prominent record labels, such as Om Records, Ministry of Sound, Stereo Deluxe, Wax On Records and Warp releases. Gelka has been a Café del Mar artist since 2003, with more than 20 CDM compilation releases, compiling and mixing 3 Café del Mar albums: Chillhouse 9, ChillWave 2, ChillWave 3. He also had a mixtape series called Café del Mar - Evolution of Chill on Apple Music in 2022. Gelka is famous for delivering floating musical journeys, beautifully curated mixtapes, and a debut album Less Is More on Nightmares On Wax's Wax On Imprint. With 4 albums (Less Is More, Stardust Memories, Wishful Thinking, Particles), Gelka has amassed over 50 million streams on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, Tidal etc. His mashups and re-edits are amongst the top listened mixtapes on Mixcloud with more than 62K followers, his mixtapes landed several times on Mixcloud best of the year lists. He also had a monthly radioshow on Ibiza Sonica Radio, and made mixtapes for BBC Radio 1 in 2022 and 2023. In addition to his music career, Csaba Kürti operates his own record label called Audiodiary, which is focused on chillout, downtempo, and ambient music. He also works on music production for other artists and bands. He has made remixes for Edapollo, Akacia, Subsets, Nightmares on Wax, Mozez (from Zero 7), Equador, GUTS, Afterlife etc. His song “Open” with folk singer Sam Brookes (known from Basement Jaxx, Phaeleh) has reached 3.9 million streams on Spotity. Also he collaborated with several artists and singers like Synkro, Forteba (Plastic City, Kompakt), Sena (Irie Maffia, DJ Vadim), Beth Hirsch (AIR), Phoenix Pearle / Sara Garvey (Nightmares on Wax, MJ Cole), Mozez, Ricky Ranking (Roots Manuva) and made mixtapes with Synkro (Apollo Records, R&S), Nuage (Anjunadeep) etc. Overall, Gelka's unique style and consistent ability to evolve and push boundaries in the chillout genre has solidified him as one of the most respected and influential chillout bands from Hungary, and he continues to create music that is both innovative and accessible to a wide audience.
