- Originally from La Paz, Bolivia, Nicolas and Christian decided to merge their musical alter egos when they met again in Bordeaux, France where they became Gentry.Originally from La Paz, Bolivia, Nicolas and Christian decided to merge their musical alter egos when they met again in Bordeaux, France where they became Gentry. The duo experiments within the genres of techno, minimal and progressive but tries to draw inspira- tion from rock and funk as well as jazz and experi- mental. In 2016 they joined the collective and label Happily Ever Recordings (HEARec) where they decided to drop their private projects all together and shift into fast gear with Gentry and have evolved rapidly since.
