- Giovanny Aparicio's sets are a musical and spiritual journey where electronic beats take us around the globe.Giovanny Aparicio is one of Colombia’s most talented electronic music artists. This recent summer season shows the international growth in his career as both dj and producer. He had an amazing season in Ibiza playing at some of the top parties of the island such as Saga at Heart next to Bedouin and Guy Laliberté, as well as Woomoon and Storyteller’s at Cova Santa next to artists such as Sainte Vie, Nu, Damian Lazarus, among others! Giovanny also rocked the dance floor in Barcelona with his residency on Thursdays this summer at Carpe Diem (CDLC Barcelona). He just returned from another year at Burning Man, where apart from his residency at Ibiza Camp he played also at Playground, Tierra Bomba and MaxaXaman art car. Aparicio has been working hard in the studio as well, his latest release ¨Grand Bazaar´, on Sol Selecta’s Summer Sol IV compilation has been very well received worldwide! More releases are coming up soon on labels such as MNL Music. Aparicio is a DJ known for his tight mixes and marathon sets. His sessions are a musical and spiritual journey where electronic beats take us around the globe. Nomadic, latin, avant-garde and organic sounds all come together in a very unique musical style, where his particular charisma is reflected in the dance floor. Giovanny is based in Cali, and holds two important international residencies that have made him well known in different circuits: since 2013 @ Casa Malca (Tulum ,Mexico www.casamalca.com ) and since 2014 @ Ibiza Camp, Burning Man Festival ( Nevada, USA burningman.org ). In recent years he has played in Spain, USA, Mexico, Uruguay, Panama, Peru, Greece, Turkey and Argentina. He has spent the last three summers based in Ibiza, playing top parties such as Acid Sundays , Dystopia, Woomoon , and many more. Aparicio also tours with Saint Vie and other label artists in the `Akumandra Showcase` , together they have played legendary places such as Skorpyos (Mykonos) and Kleingarten (Istanbul).
