Roberto Gemelín is one of the most active producers in Madrid scene. The springboard to international “fame” came as Robert Calvin after releasing "Methods Of Dance" (2004) with Turbo, Tiga’s record label. But 12” shopaholics knew him before through his workings and collaborations with the “vintage” label Star Whores, where he co-recorded with Alek Stark, Split (2002). It is worth to emphasize his remixes for the genuine Disko B, Sindicato Records and just born label MXS in which he paid tribute to Megabeat with a “cover” of his famous Strange. As Groof the background is much wider. His first steps date back to the end of the nineties when he worked for Minifunk, a cheeky record label from Barcelona where he recorded "Mambo!" (1999) and "I Want You" (2000). He also recorded Techno on Warm Up, Fieber, Brainwaves or Shareware Records. As a Dj he has played for 5 years at Stardust club in Madrid. At the moment he plays at Analogical Force and Femur parties.
