- The Handbandits are a Swiss Dj Duo, Dj Montero and Jin Chillah, that have specialized in House and Bass Music. With their own production they try to merge their different influences with electronic music, namely Rap music and Tropical/Global Bass.It was in 2007 that the Handbandits played their first gigs at High School parties but soon after they began playing at the various clubs of Switzerland's nightlife capital, Zurich. In the beginning mainly focussing on Electro/Dance music, their sound changed and evolved, first, adding Tropical Bass to their repertoire and moving on to straight on House. On the side, Hip Hop was always a loyal companion to them, which they always make clear during their sets. Their own productions are characterized by the different music they enjoy and by their influences and heritage. Their own tracks are a mixture of House, Tropical and heavy Bass beats and always have a place during their eclectic sets. Apart from having played repeatedly at one of Zurich's main references for Electronic music, the Hive Club, they also enjoy numerous residencies at clubs like Mascotte and Stall 6.
