Biografía

  • Bringing the Low Key Heat every time he is on the decks, Hector has a signature sound and vibe that moves feet.
Born in New York City, heavily influenced at an early age by a plethora of diverse music including salsa, merengue, bachata, hip hop (he was a kid living in the Bronx when Rob Bass dropped “It Takes Two”) freestyle, disco, and house. Mom was an avid club goer. His entire generation of cousins are musically inclined in some way on both sides of his family, coming from a line of DJs, producers, rappers, and artists that at some point made a go at a career doing what they love. Watching older cousins DJ hip hop house parties in the projects, carrying gear and records for them up project staircases. All of these influences are what have helped mold and shape the current sound. Background includes a 5 year military stint as a Marine, including 3 middle east tours. (Discipline.) Audio engineering school (Training) then some misfortunes and a total departure from music overall. Fast forward to a move to Seattle, where he again became interested in renewed fashion, but this time it was HOUSE. The bug bit instantly, and he sought out the venues, crews, and sound with some help along the way from friends who pointed him in the right direction ;) That bring us to now. Current goals are to continue to carve out a niche sound among the masses of fantastic music available in the market. Seattle has so much talent to offer, and he wants to be one of the pioneers in furthering Seattle’s reach, reputation, and overall scene on a national level.
