- From Paradisko (his project with local DJ/producer Hakan Özkan) to Pineapple Pop (his solo outfit) was a small step, but after a couple of singles under his belt it was time to start using his own name: HemiHemi Behmoaras is not a newbie. He’s been around for some time operating from Istanbul, Turkey, both as a dj, producer, promoter or film maker. House influenced and oldies lover could be a good starting point for Hemi’s bio and his love for Detroit Swindle, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ron Basejam or HNNY is no surprise. Hemi debuted his first “Gentle” EP on NDYD with good chart presence.
