But spending his early years as a songwriter & guitarist on the indie circuit and touring the globe at festivals such as Glastonbury (UK), only served him to realise that the fame game just wasn't for him, and hearing his music played on a Funktion One was much more his style than hearing it played on BBC Radio One. As a result, recent times have seen Hendriks truly establish himself in his beloved underground house music scene. Individually, Hendriks is also really in the spotlight at the moment. His experience on the road, touring, and creating music has helped him become the DJ/producer that he is today, fusing house, techno and disco with hip-hop and ensuring his unique vibes stands out amongst all others. His artistry shines through in first two releases scheduled for release on New Yorks finest Nurvous Records, part of the legendary Nervous imprint and the exciting Runnin Wild label, run by Bubba [Hot Creations] and Chris James. [Culprit, OFF] Hendriks also runs the influential label NastyFunk Records along with his best buddy Erik Christiansen. Hendriks and his influential NastyFunk imprint , extensively don the promo collections of some of the biggest underground DJ's around the world, such as, MANIK, Richy Ahmed, Louie Fresco, Amine Egde, Sishi Rosch and many more. The success of this year overall has seen Hendrik's international status explode, and as a result, he has already been booked across Europe, Asia and South America. Hendriks truly is the next generation of new underground house producer, with an endless passion to take it to the next level.
