Axiom hails from a diverse production background, having worked previously in hip-hop and drum and bass, and brings a unique range of sounds to house music as main producer and engineer of The Hoodfellas. He is also a regular a regular face behind the turntables at DC's most revered events and makes monthly trips to NYC to get in the booth at some of the city's best monthly events. DJ extraordinaire AB Logic's resume precedes him, having spun in venues ranging from NYC's Sullivan Room & Love, to Chicago's infamous Smart Bar, to DC's former Mega club Nation, to his annual WMC throw downs, clubs in the UK, and his successful monthly Ask Somebody! NYC event. The Hoodfellas dropped their debut EP "The Breaking and Entering EP on Dj Sneak and Chuck Daniels' Sampled Recordings and haven't looked back since. In the same year they earned a spot on Mark Farina's "Live In Tokyo" CD on OM Records, and started their own Smoke City Music record label along with Danny White and Rucky of Hudd Traxx/Slum Science fame. Their original and remix work has been featured on top house music labels such as Greenskeepers, Guesthouse Music, Kolour Recordings, Hudd Traxx, and their own thriving Smoke City Music imprint since their debut in 2007. They have become well known for their diverse production style and are equally adept in creating deeper records and more dance floor oriented tunes. When the Hoodfellas perform together on the turntables they are known for their impeccably programmed high-energy sets. Their aggressive mixing style constantly keeps the crowd entertained and moving all night long.
