Co-organiser of Patterns of Perception, a collective based in Berlin, cultivating compelling, visionary electronic music through events, our mix series, video profiles and interviews.A raver since his teenage years in Australia, Hysteria began experimenting with turntables and (later) software and hardware only around five years ago, quickly finding himself thriving off the unique possibilities DJing offered to move people physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Mesmerised by the energy of the dance floor, since moving to Berlin from his native Sydney some seven years ago, Hysteria has crafted a niche for himself as a selector of genre-bending techno coupled with a unique, ever-changing collage of sounds drawn from across the electronic music spectrum. The result is challenging yet irresistible: groovy, cosmic vibes.
