Biografía
- “beats that sounded like pneumatic drills tearing up pavement in the midst of a traffic jam” – THE NEW YORK CITY JAZZ RECORDI-R is a Detroit-based project of Daniel Rhode (DJ Retcon) & Adam Francis Cuthbert (DJ Kuuma), whose live performances offer equal parts aggressive techno beats, lofi ambient sound worlds, and black-midi compositions. Their work has been presented at Bang on a Can’s Long Play Festival in Brooklyn, NY, the Third Place Music Festival in Ann Arbor, MI, Ithaca Underground’s series at The Soil Factory in Ithaca, NY and Noise Engineering’s web-based modular synth showcase, The Noiseblast Hour.
