Biografía
- IAAMIAAM, emerged as a sonic explorer. Hailing from Madrid but raised in Mallorca, he was captivated by the raw sounds of Disco, House, Techno, Dub, and other forms of electronic music from an early age. At just 14 years old, he immersed himself in the world of vinyl, spending his after-school hours in a record store where he traded his time for the coveted currency of music. In 2000, IAAM took his passion for electronic music to the next level, stepping behind the decks to unleash his musical prowess upon club- goers. Fuelled by his insatiable love for the art, he pursued sound engineering studies, solidifying his technical foundation. By 2004, IAAM found himself entrenched in the vibrant nightlife of Mallorca's Riu and Titos club, honing his craft as a resident DJ. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for new experiences, IAAM made his pilgrimage to Barcelona in 2006. From 2010 to 2015, he dominated the decks as a resident DJ at the legendary Monkey Bar parties, captivating crowds with his extended sets and eclectic groove that came to life during the darkest hours of the night. Nowadays, IAAM calls Bali home, where he curates the sonic direction of Attika, crafting his own immersive events like Nights On Wax and Vision alongside Katze. Collaborating with artists like Reiss (VBX, Amsterdam) and DJ Koolt (Phonotheque, Uruguay), IAAM focuses on the underground scene, weaving together captivating visuals and extraordinary sounds. Sharing the stage with luminaries of the industry, IAAM has performed alongside icons such as Marcel Dettmann, Pulshar, Daniel Bell, Deetron, Nina Kraviz, Sebo K, Patrick Speck, Jus Ed, DJ Qu, and Kirk Degiorgio. Expanding his artistic horizons, IAAM has become a formidable producer, unleashing his creations upon renowned labels that shape the current music landscape. With releases on esteemed imprints like Robsoul, Music For Freaks, Too Many Rules, Moodyhouse Recordings, Flashmob, i Records (Kevin Yost), Spilt Milk, Roush, Savor Music, I Records, Unlock Recordings, Natural Rhythm, Neovinyl, and Clock. IAAM's sonic journey continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
