- Ian Mayer was born in Budapest. And early childhood moved to Moscow. In the school he formed a rock band where played on drums. After finishing the musical school as a drummer in 2003 he playing DJ-school. Since 2006 he’s been listening a lot to Liqu..Ian Mayer was born in Budapest. And early childhood moved to Moscow. Since 2006 he’s been listening a lot to Liquid Funk, Old school, various Drum’n’Bass music and tuning into some forward thinking radio stations such as: BBC Radio 1 Shows as well as 1Xtra. In 2007 he heard the sound of Mark Farina and it made a great impact on him - that music had a specific old school groove and lots of energy. Since 2007 he started to create music in Cubase, Ableton and then in Logic Studio, studying of sound engineering, attending professional recording studios and using analogue equipment. Also he started organising parties in different Underground Moscow Clubs̸- Balkan Connection - Klinik Room Recordings - Moveubabe Recordings - Amber Recordings
