Formerly illStM, this French wunderkind has taken his musical training in the sax..Saxophonist for more than 15 years, Ill Saint M (formerly known as IllStM) is a musician above all. From free jazz to experimental rock, from punk to funk, his musical universe is a mixture constantly growing of which he takes a state identity which materializes on stage. His style is the perfect mix between the powerful sounds of the electro style and techno which is beated by catchy basslines and implacable grooves. His music finds its inspiration and its richness in the fusion of the different kinds that made his identity and gave a rhythm to his whole existence. ill Saint M packs a powerful punch on any dancefloor. Formerly illStM, this French wunderkind has taken his musical training in the saxophone and morphed from Free Jazz to Experimental Rock, from Punk to Funk, to the eclectic tracks he’s produced to date. After sealing his first success as an expat in Norway with the mem- orable “All Classy For Me” playlisted on the national radio (2009), ill Saint M went back to the studio in France and produced two stellar singles “Uppercut!!!” and “Moctezuma” (feat. A Girl And A Gun). Acclaimed by the press and play-listed by a number of well- known international artists, this propelled his music career forward and he was invited to play at one of France’s largest music festival Les Transmusicales (2010), elevating his status and appreciation further still. Since the recognition awarded from his success, ill Saint M took his musical career to the next level by signing massive remixes on international labels including the legendary Dim Mak Records, sharing the stage all over Europe with international well-known artists such as Etienne de Crecy, Mstrkrft and Birdy Nam Nam to names a few. In 2011, he joins the famous German label Freakz Me Out for a massive EP “Carnation” remixed by Franki Chan, Hostage, F.O.O.L and Gooseflesh and gained international support from electro heavy- weight like Steve Aoki, Haezer, Gtronic and Polymporphic, adding further credibility to ill Saint M’s ability to musically pack a punch on an international level. Add to this his collaboration with the famous Californian singer Justin Pearson (2012) and his remix of Smacktown becoming the top label seller on Tuff’em Up Records in just 15 days, and you know that ill Saint M is a force to be reckoned with. This is only the beginning for ill Saint M. Destined for a larger inter- national platform, there is no doubt that his Electro and Techno styles are ready for music fans across the globe.
