Biografía
- DJ/Producer. A mixture of electronic music styles based around the soul and spirit of house and techno complement a common idea in his energetic, spacey and intimate style. One half of production duo Mr. FalconIly exudes a unique deep electronic energy and a soulful / jackin' / tech / house music atmosphere from behind the glow and blinks of the DJ setup. His belief that dance music can be therapy and parties are supposed to be FUN is evident in his dedication to the good feeling. He's worked with Tone Depth and Greg Pidcock (Bad Pony Records) in Montreal, and has gone on to get tracks released on Nurvous Records, emby, and Spira Music with conspirator/co-DJ Blueshift as Mr. Falcon. ILY hosts a monthly dance event called INFRARED, and plays at regional festivals in and around Philadelphia along with the crew LEFT RITE (composed of dj's Beetee Beats, DecoSoul, Gummibear, Dr. Plotkin, Phil Yeah, Alex Aguirre, and more wonderful friends). ILY grew up in Amish country. One of his first big (not 100% legal) shows was at a Mennonite farm out in the country. The DJ setup was on the 2nd floor balcony of the farmhouse facing the livestock barn. It was wonderful and different for the area, and thankfully the cows didn't call the cops. Having come up in an area without much of an electronic scene, ILY found his first musical home online and at the open-lifestyle clubs in Pennsylvania's capital city Harrisburg. Like a dummy, he had no idea how electronic music was made and spent two years trying to get techno sounds out of classical composition software.
