DJ and musician, Impulze, better known as Gudni Einarsson, at an early age fell in love with electronic music and soon began to fiddle with the decks and audio engineering. He discovered wonders from influences such as Acen, Basic Channel, Dave Clarke. Jeff Mills, Exos, Burial, Shlomi Aber, Ben Sims, and Chain reaction, just to name a few. Impulze had hardly ripened when his first single, Bekkur (Bench) was released on an independent British record label, Cube Recordings. Coming from the cold and mystique Iceland, Impulze’s music is unquestionably influenced by the dark, cold and bleakness of his country. Today, he is releasing new singles frequently on labels such as Pollux Records and 220 V Recordings, determined to keep his focus on composing in addition to his evolving career as a DJ.
