  • Getting into the game at the tale end of the 20th century, James rose through the ranks of the Australian scene, wetting his feet in all facets of club culture and carving out a career that he never dreamed of having. A life in electronic music
    A leading figure in Australia's Nu Skool Breaks Movement, James was one of the first to champion this genre in Sydney. It quickly became one of the biggest underground movements of the new millennium with James and a couple others it's pioneers. Not wanting to be pigeon holed, James got started on leaving his footprint over the whole industry. From selling records at BPM records, to holding residencies at many of Sydney’s most iconic clubs including Globe, Sublime, YU, Sounds as well as being a regular at almost all Sydney dance festivals. JT's time in the spotlight wasn’t unnoticed as he earned accolades such as place in the ITMtop50 DJs awards and winning runner up in 3D Worlds Local DJ of the year awards. 2005 he released his first commercial CD “Fuzzy Breaks Vol 2.” which had a successful worldwide distribution. In 2007 James took the reigns as the presenter Friday Sunset Radio show on FBI 94.5FM. Not stopping there, he delved into the business side of things and became the music director & booker of some of Sydneys most infamous clubs, Ruby Rabbit, WHAM! & Spice. Even with the responsibility of a "day" job, James never relaxed on his DJ schedule Years went by, music changed & matured but james' always maintained his own unique tech driven sound. In 2015, James was offered the job of Music Director & resident DJ at a new underground club that was about to open called in Bali, Indonesia. Koh opened it’s doors in March 2015 and James has been looking after the music there ever since.
