- "Jefia has had a healthy obsession with collecting new music for as long as he can remember, starting at a young age with his father’s record collection which exposed him to everything from Jimi Hendrix to Depeche Mode."Jefia has had a healthy obsession with collecting new music for as long as he can remember, starting at a young age with his father’s record collection which exposed him to everything from Jimi Hendrix to Depeche Mode. He started out DJing Hip Hop in college, while gradually exposing himself to more electronic sounds. He later relocated downstate to NYC where he fully immersed himself in the sounds of House and Techno. There he began to find himself behind the decks at both underground parties and more well known ones such as the perennial MOVE party at Roberta’s and more recently at Standard Deviation. Most recently he played Epizode festival in Vietnam. He prides himself on playing sets that involve taking risks and span different genres, from minimal and deep to soulful and funky, all while keeping the dance floor moving.
