- The Swedish producer Jenius became deeply involved with the electronic side of life in the beginning of 1997 as a frequent figure on the Stockholm dj scene. 2002. Stockholm was left behind, only to explore new faces of music and find ones own. Barce..The Swedish producer Jenius became deeply involved with the electronic side of life in the beginning of 1997 as a frequent figure on the Stockholm dj scene. 2002. Stockholm was left behind, only to explore new faces of music and find ones own. Barcelona, Spain soon became the destination that would bring inspiration, creation and production of electronic music. Jenius has been producing since 2004, although he's been standing behind the decks for many years. Together with Dj/Producer Gaspard de la Vega, Jenius founded the label Ourvision Recordings where they try to gather new interesting electronic sounds. Apart from releasing under his own label, Jenius has released tracks on labels such as Subsequent and Devilfish's label IGEL where he and Gaspard made one of the remixes of SthlmSoundmachine's 2004 bomb "Beautiful People". Always a big fan of music, Jenius find inspiration in a number of styles but dub and other Jamaican music along with soul, funk and disco are the genres that influenced him the most, making grooves and tracks for the dancefloor. DJing for about ten years, he’s been playing many clubs and parties around Europe and his ecclectic sets has made him play at places like Moog, City Hall, BeCool, La Terrazza, Sunfactory and La Macarena in his home town Barcelona. The classic club Cookies in Berlin. He is also a frequent name on the Amsterdam scene where he’s played at clubs like Supperclub and Pitchclub and a live performance at the In deep’n’dance party at the 2007 Amsterdam Dance Event. The summer 2009 was hectic for Jenius. Together with new studio partner Gegenheimer they released their first single on Berlin based Mood Music. The first release from there debut artist album that´s planned to be released beginning of 2010. Along with that he had a weekly recidency at Ibiza club Aura and gigs in Stockholm, Istanbul, Berlin and Barcelona. The autum looks busy for Jenius with new releases on own label Ourvision and the Berlin based label Perplex. His and Gegenheimer second release on Moodmusic is also on it´s way. Along with that he has gigs in Stockholm, Berlin and Barcelona.
