- Jesús Vögel is a multimedia artist, producer, DJ, audio engineer, art curator & international live performer. One of the pioneers in expanding the underground electronic scene in southern Spain. Label Manager of Cremaster Records. Co-Founder of SubkulturJesús Vögel is one of the most active and talented multidisciplinary artists of “spanish-berliner” underground scene of last years. Multimedia producer, remixer, DJ, filmmaker/video-artist mainly, also developer of mixed media designs (as photography, art graphic, drawing, sculpture or writing) & anti-mainstream cultural curator, with a really unusual, beautiful and disturbing creative work. Was born in Andalucía in winter of ´84, left-hander and with a ecleptic post-punk revolutionary philosophy, remains a independent audiovisual manipulator, respected artist & international live performer. Has playing in the most important spanish venues & festivals in cities like Cadiz, Sevilla, Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Ibiza or Palma de Mallorca, among many others, and exhibited internationally his works a lot of clubs of Spain, Berlin (Germany), Paris (Francia), Buenos Aires (Agentina), La Paz (Bolivia) or New York (EE.UU.). Some of his remixes include collaborations with artists like The XX, The Bloody Beetroots, Huoratron, Pablo Decoder, TAI or Cyberpunkers. Some of his official videoclips was made for bands like God is an Astronaut, Odeondreams or Mynationshit. His works have been published in international records labels as TecnoNucleo, Human Manipulation Label, 2beginners, Serxii Records Netlabel, Pendrive Records, Liebe Records, The Bloody Dirty Sanchez, Labolatory Net-Label, Ger-men platform, GH Records... In early 2012 Jesús Vögel was at 3º position of the Electronic Charts of Reverbnation; a month later is selected artist to play at Red Bull Tour Bus Spain 2012. After a very hard and “intense” relationship of love and hate with Spain, decided move his studio & projects to Berlin (Germany). Currently living in this inspirational city, in few months was playing in some of the most important berliner clubs, like Brunnen70, Prince Charles, Badehaus Szimple or Subland, among many others. In July of 2012 is invited to participate in the recording of the swedish film "Enjoy The Wind", making his first steps in the big screen like actor and collaborator into this movie production. Also working uusally like journalist for some independents magazines and collaborator in a lot of multidisciplinary international projects. In the last time has work as curator, composer, editor, producer, remixer & assistant collaborator for others audiovisual experimental artists.
