Biografía
- Joze Arce (Jocan Deka). He was born in Mexico City in 1985. From his early childhood, he showed interest in arts in general, but it was not until his adolescence, that his passion for music arose.Born in Mexico City in 1985, based in Nantes "France" Joze Arce, also known as Jocan Dekä, boasts over 17 years of expertise in the underground music scene as a DJ/Producer. He stands out as one of the most versatile DJs of his generation, having set out from the start to challenge preconceived notions and break away from conventional DJ patterns. His commitment to crafting distinctive mixes on stage has become a hallmark of his career. Renowned for his innovative fusion of House and Techno, Jocan Dekä seamlessly incorporates diverse sub-genres into his music, including Downtempo, Leftfield, Italo & Dark Disco, Afro, Bass Music, Breaks, and IDM. This stylistic diversity culminates in a unique sound he has coined as "Hybrid." In 2014, a pivotal year in his career, Jocan Dekä was selected to be part of Boiler Room’s #StayTrue event in Mexico City. Additionally, he received recognition in 2014 as the Best Techno DJ at the DJ World Music Conference, an event held in the Mexican capital. Since 2006, Jocan Dekä has actively engaged in various projects, collaborating with producers, DJs, collectives, and artists, which has led to performances at festivals, clubs, bars, and events across Mexico, Spain, and France. In 2022, he launched "WE ARE REBELS," his own radio show on Radio DY10 (Blockhaus) in Nantes. He has also been a member of collectives such as Be Wonder, Venus, PtiMix, and Optimé. He shares the stage with acclaimed artists like Kaytranada, Scuba, Bambounou, Seth Troxler, Rebolledo, El Buho, Chancha vía Circuito, Parra for Cuva, DJ T, Anhedonia, and Atoem. For over seven years, Jocan Dekä has been actively participating in "Ecstatic Dance" events, promoting conscious parties. He initiated his journey with the Mexican collective SUNDANCE and, since 2021, has co-created Ecstatic Dance Nantes, enabling him to share his passion for this expression in both France and Mexico, captivating different audiences.̸ORIGINAL Jocan Dekä feat.
