It all started with the mysterious character Claudia Bonarelli and it was all about click, cuts and deep dubby soundscapes. In the year of 2006 he started Black Art Orchestra, the result of the joined powers of producers Håkan Lidbo and Johan Fotmeijer music aiming for the late night dance floor with its motorik sahko style and blorting bass. Their debut on Trapez was awarded track of the night status at the cologne based traum schallplatten party. Johan’s sound devices have stopped following his commands, not a simple matter of disobedience but the terrifying first stage of a digital flu pandemic. He released on labels like Boxer, Kailash, Adjunct, Mitek, Trapez LTD, Thinner and Mille Plateaux.
